Hello Blogosphere!
I am excited about starting this blog about my journey towards becoming an architect. In this blog I hope to share my own experience reflecting on my previous years in architecture school and leading up to the present. I find this to be a unique and exciting time to begin a career as an architect. With one of the worst recessions happening right now, and with the AEC industry still in a whirlwind about how to recover, I still look forward to utilizing the skills and knowledge I have gained in school. Hopefully this might reach other recent graduates who are in a similar situation to offer some encouragement and maybe create some dialogue. I welcome this. If you are a recent graduate of architecture, and come across this blog, don't be afraid to join in the conversation. My vision is for this blog to create some dialogue between us architects, fresh out of school. We need this. I need this. There is a lot going on right now regarding architecture, and the role of the architect for generations to come.
